Winter Balancing Yoga Workshop

This workshop is designed to help bring balance and wellbeing for the winter season. According to Ayurvedic philosophy, we as humans are a microcosm of the macrocosm, meaning all that is happening in the outer world will affect our inner world. Winter is the season of ‘kapha’, in other words cold and wet, so to restore balance we need to to create inner heat, as well as open the chest to allow the prana to flow freely in this area and prevent stagnation. Expect an invigorating, heart-opening practice!

The workshop will include:

– approx. 2 hours of yoga, pranayama and meditation
– a brief introduction to Ayurvedic principles
– teachings on how to balance kapha in lifestyle and diet
