The ancient practice of Ayurveda recommends establishing a daily routine to promote good health and wellbeing: including what time we wake up, simple practices to cleanse and remove toxins, exercises to calm the mind and strengthen the body, meal times and what time we go to bed. This workshop is aimed at helping you to establish a routine that is both workable and supportive within your daily schedule.
Outline of the afternoon
Basic yoga practice, including asana and brief pranayama and meditation
A brief introduction to the history and philosophy of Ayurveda
Presentation of wellbeing practices inspired by Ayurveda to include in your daily routine
Tea and pair/group work planning workable daily routines to take home
About the teacher
Lucinda is the Director at Lucinda Yoga, Yoga and Wellbeing Instructor, Bach Flower Therapist and co-founder of the Lime House Yoga Foundational Teacher Training Programme. She has worked in health and wellbeing for 20 years. As well as teaching weekly yoga classes, yoga teacher training, workshops, Ayurveda, women’s wellbeing and meditation, Lucinda works with students on a 1-1 basis to help them establish a regular yoga practice at home.
