Classes cannot be carried over to the next term and must be used within the dates specified above. You are however welcome to attend a class on a different day or ask for a recording which you can download and use at any time.

Mixed ability yoga

These one and a half hour classes are mixed ability and open to all. The sessions are fairly dynamic without being strenuous, and include asana (physical postures) with close attention to alignment detail, pranayama (breathing exercises), a brief meditation and relaxation at the end; you should feel energised and relaxed by the time you leave! Classes generally have a theme, drawing on classical yoga and healing traditions, including Ayurveda, Buddhism and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

Yoga Basics
Whether you are a complete beginner, or wanting to gain more confidence in key yoga postures, you are welcome to join me at this new class starting in the autumn.

Each week, we’ll move through a series of basic yoga postures, breaking down each one down so you can move into and out of the pose safely.  You will become familiar with verbal alignment cues and how to move your body in response to simple instructions.

Wise Women Yoga
One and a half hours mixed ability yoga in person. Each class has a philosophical or physical theme and invites the practitioner to embody the practices according to his or her ability. This class is Level 1, which is a slightly lower level than the Zedshed classes on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but is still fairly dynamic (reasonable level of fitness required!). This beautiful community has evolved over the years and has organically grown into a group of women who are 50+.
