Mixed ability yoga

These one and a half hour classes are mixed ability and open to all. The sessions are fairly dynamic without being strenuous, and include asana (physical postures) with close attention to alignment detail, pranayama (breathing exercises), a brief meditation and relaxation at the end; you should feel energised and relaxed by the time you leave! Classes generally have a theme, drawing on classical yoga and healing traditions, including Ayurveda, Kashmir Shaivism, Buddhism and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

“Thank you, your classes are an anchor and I’ve enjoyed every one!” H

Instructions for Zoom

  1. Please take the time to download the Zoom app on any device you may use for joining live classes. The basic Zoom app is free of charge and sufficient for you to participate in my online classes.*
  2. Joining using mobile phones and iPads will take you straight into the class. People joining via a laptop will need to download the app and then click on the ‘open zoom.us’ when the screen launches.
  3. I will open the class 15 mins before we start to give you time to ensure you are checked in and fully functioning!
  4. Remember everyone will be able to see you! I highly recommend you have your video settings on so we can all connect as much as possible and feel like we’re together as a group. If you prefer not to be seen leave your video off.

* I also suggest that if you are unfamiliar with Zoom, you practice in advance with a friend! It can take a little time to become familiar with how to ensure the video and microphone are switched on. If you have no-one to practise with and are unsure, please message me the day before and I will do my best to talk you through it.
