Join senior yoga teachers Jock and Lucinda for a 4-day yoga immersion specifically designed to offer you the tools to deepen your yoga practice. This course is aimed at yoga students with at least two years of practice and yoga teachers who would like to re-connect with these rich and ancient teachings, providing a solid grounding in the philosophy of yoga. With two teachers and no more than 10 students, the individual attention received by each student will be invaluable for self-development and offers up the chance for radical improvements in the practice and alignment of yoga āsana as well as holding the space for you to examine habits that you may have formed on the mat.

This module offers a wonderful opportunity to find out about the historical context for modern day yoga and refine your practice of key standing postures. Ideal for yoga teachers who want to gain confidence in their knowledge of the history and practical elements of yoga, as well as regular practitioners who are wanting to take the next step on their yoga journey. Over the course of 4 days, you will learn about the Universal Principles of Alignment and how to apply these principles in your own practice, to help further your understanding of functional yoga anatomy. In addition, you will be able to enhance your knowledge and practice of breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation, both of which offer which many therapeutic effects for body and mind and provide healing physiological benefits.

This 4-day yoga event is part of the Practitioner Immersion Programme and can be taken as a stand-alone module or you can book the whole series of 6 modules. It is not necessary to have completed Module 1 in order to join Module 2.
